ASP World Longboard Champion crowned

Taylor Jensen (Carlsbad, CA), 27, has clinched his first ASP World Longboard Title by finishing runner-up to Kai Salls (HAW), 30, at the final stop on the ASP WLT, the Bear Pro presented by Jeep which was held in Andorra, Italy.

After going on a holding pattern throughout the majority of the Bear Pro presented by Jeep due to an unfortunate flat spell, event organizers relocated to the backup site of Andora to run the event on the final two days of the event schedule.

Burton Snowboards and LAAX have decided to postpone the Burton European Open from January 2012 to the end of February 2012 due to the current weather conditions. The BEO is now scheduled from Feb. 25th – March 3rd, 2012.

Burton and LAAX are committed to providing a very high standard of Slopestyle and Halfpipe snowboarding events. The temperatures at the moment do not allow preparation of a park set-up in time that meets the expectations of organizers and riders. For this reason postponement of the event has been confirmed.
