The 5Star TTR event is happening on December 16th, 2011 with world-class riders in attendance. At last years event it took 2 weeks for the steel structure to stand while workers managed to construct this years ramp at almost half the time.

Travis Rice survives an avalanche

Snowboarder Travis Rice explains in the US TV show ‘Conan’ how to escape avalanches and some of the other handy techniques used for The Art of Flight movie in which he stars.
Host Conan O’Brien and his guests, including Julie Bowen from sitcom Modern Family, were stunned by the piece of footage that shows Travis apparently disappearing under a sudden onrush of snow on a collapsing slope.
