Fresh out of high school and with an average age of 18 years old, Pennsylvania’s Code Orange Kids do things their way, creatively cutting their own path through it all.
Unconcerned with the direction of other artists, their brand of gritty hardcore/punk is simply refreshing to hear. Merging cryptic melody, dirty hardcore power, and intense dirge into their own uniquely inspired sound.

Rot In Hell are a brutally raw and unrelenting UK punk/hardcore band. They epitomize the “Holy Terror” Cleveland spawned sound, popularized by bands like Integrity and Ringworm, and inject their own mutation into the festering contemporary hardcore/punk cesspool.
“As Pearls Before Swine” is the first proper full length effort for Rot In Hell. From the first moments of haunting feedback in the opener “Fulminate of Mercury”, it’s apparent that something wicked has been unfurled. Just two minutes in, Rot In Hell sonically rips their world wide open, galloping forth into musical blackness.
Deafheaven has signed to Deathwish Inc. Deafheaven is a genre defying aggressive band from San Francisco, CA.
Their hybrid musical approach is outright stunning. A melding of epic Post Rock leanings (Envy, Godspeed You! Black Emperor) with experimental Black Metal (Xasthur, Weakling, Leviathan), and classic era “Screamo” (Orchid, Crimson Curse) into something never successfully experienced before.
In the summer of 2010, Deafheaven released their self titled demo which received great reviews from all sides of the music Blogosphere.
Deafheaven will soon enter the studio to record their new album titled “Roads to Judah” with Jack Shirley (Funeral Diner, Loma Prieta). This highly anticipated album will be released on Deathwish in 2011.
Listen to “Exit: Denied” from that demo here:
You can pick up a digital version of Deafheaven’s full demo direct from their Bandcamp website.
Touche Amore are a thought provoking, passionate hardcore/punk band from Los Angeles, California.
From the first strikes of their angular yet melodic chords, it’s apparent that Touche Amore have awoken something long since forgotten in the hardcore/punk genre. Within each song they build an awe inspiring musical tension while impassioned vocalist Jeremy Bolm’s shouts resonate, ripe with intellectual introspection.
This collective outpouring of traditional hardcore anger and emotional hardcore openness ultimately coalesces into something beautiful, vulnerable, and refreshingly real.
